J.Nation/Jus Bus

Some of the greatest treasures are found in the Caribbean, and when it comes to music production, it would be difficult to find a more committed producer focused on matching excellence in rhythmic composition with the vocal range of the artist(s) he's working with. He goes by the name of Justin ‘Jus Bus’ Nation and comes highly recommended by Grammy Award winning artists as much as Independent upcoming talents.

Born in Texas, Jumped Through Colorodo, then moved to Florida where Jus Bus lived with his Sister,Grandmother & Grandfather while going back and forth from St. Croix (U.S. Virgin Islands) where his mother lived before arriving in Antigua, Jus Bus has experienced the age old saying ‘it takes a village to raise a child.’ The producer is proud of his Antiguan heritage saying “every person I came
in contact with taught me a lesson, and those lessons can be heard in the music!”

Growing up with the love of his Mother and Step Father, and amongst the orchard of Mango trees and the vast expanse of Caribbean Ocean, Jus Bus developed an ear for music that accounts for a worlds taste with a Caribbean focus. His canvas for which he creates is the range of genres in which he specializes which includes Reggae, Dancehall, Pop, World Beat, R&B, and Adult Contemporary. Without limitation, Jus Bus customizes his organic creations to suit the needs of every
project.

Catching the attention of John Legends label, Sony Records, Jus Bus was able to produce the remix for the multiple Grammy winning artists’ song “No Other Love” featuring Estelle. The A&R for the project was impressed with the producers’ ability to maintain the essence of the original composition while enhancing it for the lucrative Caribbean audience via remix.

In 2013, Jus Bus’s accolades continue to mount, this time for his contributing the musical composition that allowed Award winning artist Jah Cure, and Grammy Award winning artist Jazmine Sullivan to perform the song “Choose Up” which is featured on Jah Cure’s album World Cry released on SoBe Records.

This collaboration is a reflection of a meeting of the Caribbean with North America, as well as an appreciation for instrumentation. Jus Bus’s use of the guitar is said to have enhanced the song and broadened its’ universal appeal to all audiences.

Also Notable is his Co-Production Work on Snoop Dogg (Snoop Lion)'s Reggae Album "REINCARNATED". Jus Bus,Supa Dups & Diplo of Major Lazer collaborated on the Production for Track 8 on that album and it features Collie Buddz.

Unafraid to work with artists who are still developing, Jus Bus worked with QQ (regarded as a teen sensation from Jamaica) on the song “Rume Ram” which became a local favorite on radio, and garnered more than 700,000 views on YouTube. Building on that success, Jus Bus added the budding talent to the Caribbean Girls Riddim compilation. QQ’s song “Wine Your Waist” became a huge success earning well over 1 million views on YouTube and worldwide radio play on stations that broadcast
Reggae and Dancehall.

Working closely with collaborator and good friend Bambino, the two met in 2007 when Jus Bus lived in Miami (from 2007 – 2009). Production has come naturally to the two which is reflected in their collective discography. Also having an impact is Walshy Fire and Dolla Cham whose support Bus is thankful for. A brother on the musical journey is LogiQ; 2013 will see the release of projects featuring LogiQ
whom Jus Bus regards as one of the best MC’s in the Caribbean. Omari Harrigan of Chosen Sounds gave Bus his first tenure as a producer at Chosen Studios, allowing him to grow in his craft from 2003 to 2006.

Regardless of geography, Jus Bus’s productions have been performed by talent inthe UK, The US, The Caribbean and Europe. Responsible for some of the highest rated musical compositions including the Caribbean Girls, Mango and Gyal Season riddims, Jus Bus’s projects consistently receive international success. Musically self taught, Jus Bus is relentless in his pursuit of perfection, as evidenced in
his remix for Bob Marley’s song “Is This Love” which has received multiple thousand views on YouTube and was Co-Produced by Torsten Stenzel, and was added to 2013 broadcast tributes to the legend on terrestrial and online radio stations
alike.

Jus Bus is Currently Developing His Vocal Talent under the Alias "J.Nation" with Multi-Award winning producer Torsten Stenzel. Jus Bus & Torsten have worked on various production projects together over the last 3 years and this led to his evolution into vocals and Song writing.
